We are proudly Blenheim based and New Zealand's only express service operator to be endorsed by the Motor Trade Association.

We are still very much in a strong growth phase of our new business and so it is heartening to be able to be recognised as a good local citizen. We have supported six local schools in our cash for schools programme and also sponsor exercise books for some of the lower decile schools in town.
We are a good employer and have offered equity and or profit share opportunities to attract new staff. It is fair to say that finding qualified staff has been difficult.
We are members of the Motor Trade Association but have not yet fully contributed to its operations. We do look forward to being more involved in this as we grow.  
Colin uses his skills and knowledge as an elected member of the Marlborough Girls College Board of Trustees. This can be time consuming and represents a strong commitment from the business to allow release to attend to meetings and especially senior leadership appointments. Currently the school is involved in appointing a new principal and assistant principal as well as working towards its co-location with the Boys College on a new site.

Being a member of the MTA requires that we have at least one fully qualified tradesperson on the staff at anyone time. We must meet industry standards for professionalism, prove we have invested in the right plant and equipment to do our job competently and meet a number of environmental standards. 

We are currently re-structuring our operation as part of our growth phase. This means greater community involvement in the future. We plan to offer trade training to a new staff member starting soon and have budgeted to sponsor at least two local sports teams in the current financial year.   

Instant Auto also sponsors a girl in India through World Vision and partners with IHC to provide support and resources for those with intellectual challenges beyond the norm.
